About this recipe

Goose gives this recipe a richer, deeper taste than chicken alone, and parsnip and fennel add a mild sweetness. A pinch of green-lipped mussel rounds it off.

How to serve

Serve it at room temperature, as the whole meal. Split the daily amount over two meals if you like.

Dog weight · per day

  • 5 kg 336–460 g · about 1 tin
  • 10 kg 565–774 g · 1½ to 2 tins
  • 20 kg 951–1,301 g · 2½ to 3¼ tins
  • 30 kg 1,289–1,763 g · 3¼ to 4½ tins

Calm dogs need the lower amount, active dogs the higher. Mixing with kibble? Split the day: for example, half the tins plus half your kibble's daily amount.

Switching food?

Mix it into the old food over about a week. Adding a fillet on top? Great: just use a little less of this.

Storage

Unopened: somewhere cool and dry. Once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 2 days. Serve at room temperature.

Feeding calculator

g per day

Per day

Is it right for my dog?

    Grain-free?
    Yes, no grains added.
    Heart, liver and gizzard?
Yes, on purpose: they’re among the most nutritious parts.
    Why the broth?
It’s what turns meat into a terrine: the meat cooks gently in it, and it sets around the pieces. It also adds water to your dog’s day.
Can I mix it with kibble?
Yes. Split the day: for example, half the tins plus half your kibble’s daily amount. The feeding calculator works it out.
    Warm or cold?
At room temperature. Take an opened tin out of the fridge a little before the meal.
